Bronson's death today got me thinking about an episode (possibly 2 separate
ones) featuring an impersonation of the actor.

the bits i;m thinking of are two TV clips on the simpsons TV. one is a clip
from Death Wish 12 or somethiing where bronson is simply in a hospital bed
and utters "I wish i was dead"

the other is from a (fictional?) western TV show where bronson plays the
sheriff. says something like, "now i'm off to Emmett's fix-it shop to "fix"
emmett".

any help on which episodes these are from?

the second one is from "Simpsonscalifraguliciusexpeiala(Annoyed
Grunt)cious" , the Shari Bobbins episode . And they were parodying _The
Andy Griffiths Show_ .

Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiali-d'oh-cious (3G03). The show was real
(the clip obviously was not). It was The Andy Griffith Show.

There is also another Charles Bronson reference (not counting that guy
with a million jobs that sounds like him). The Simpson family stopped
off in Bronson, Missouri once where every citizen was Charles Bronson.
I don't recall which episode that was.

The Old Man and the Key (DABF09)

Bronson: Hey, Ma. How 'bout some cookies?
Bronson's mother: No dice.
Bronson: This ain't over.

Yeah, a pseudo-parody of "Death Wish" ("Death Wish IX"), in the bad
episode "A Star is Burns". Stupid, unfunny, tasteless, moronic scene
written by... oh, who cares about his name - some worthless slimeball
punk who won't even be remembered by his family six months after his
death. And yes, it was my original, immediate reaction to that scene,
long before CB died.

That scene one, on the other hand, was amusing, as was "Bronson,
Missouri" in "The Old Man & the Key".
